Intricacies of relationships

The first friend of a child is usually his or her mother. When a child grows he develops other relations like friends ,teachers and then when he marries his wife,children and workplace frineds. It is often said that the human beings are attracted towards the opposite sex. For example the boy child is attaracted towards        mother and the girl child towrds her father. However as he grows up he creates other relations .

Relationships must not be abusive and must be based on mutual trust, love and respect.The people who are involved must adjust to each others needs and wants. The mother son relation is perhaps the most basic and most pure relationship as there is least materialistic aspect in it. As a child grows up he creates friends and other relations than this relatives. However a person must give space in a relationship if he wants that relationship to stay stable.

After all relationships are man's most valuable asset as he may lose money but he cannot afford to lose friends as friends or people in relationships must be well habituated with each other.Then in man woman relationship there comes the 'sexual' aspect of relationship and this is a very soft issue. All said and done relationships are soft threads which must be cultivated with time .

Life@callcenter

At first  I shall like to apologise as the reader might think me to be old -fashioned. Recently after I resigned from a call center in Kolkata due to ill -health. The few day I spent in the call center made me understand how the life of today's people go. I am really old fashioned because I did not fit into the work culture as they were living life in the fast lane. Boozing,smoking and who has girlfriend or boyfriend became the forte of them. They were busy gossiping about sex which I must admit was also my area of interest . However they were leading a fast life and often planning where to spend the weekend ,whose house will be vacant so that they can have liquor. After that they were busy discussing office politics and back-biting.
I do not claim to be Doskavotski's 'idiot' but I must say they  are much smarter than me and certainly smarter than a class five student.However my area of discussion was that they were so busy 'enjoying ' their life(which I do not say to be bad) that one day when there was a political dispute instead of empathising with the affected they were doing their own tusks of discussing 'fun'. I might sound harsh but I really found this to be inhuman.But what to do this may be really what life is and I the real'idiot'.

The Love Problem of New Generation

According to some people the new generation is fast -paced whose values do not match with the older  one. People involve romantically with each other and try to find pleasure in physical love. But the true fact remains that thoguh love can be physical at times still love cannot be only that. When a couple enters into a relationship they enter into a relationship of faith and mutual trust. The couple spend a huge part of their life in knowing each -other. Then when they enter into love life they enter into the world of something that is beyond trust . They start respecting each other and enjoy the oppurtunity to explore each others body.
Allthough this is a matter of doubt that whether love can be only physical or this is into perversion. Then love can be called the symbol of mutual trust and respect.However some people identify love with only physical. Their love cannot be more than a fast paced life and the love life of people are not more important than other aspects. Sex is an essential part of  love but if one is hooked by sexual pleasure then he can change partners frequently and this may even lead to various sexually transmetted disease like gonoria and AIDS.
The new generation as according to some deals largely with the physical aspect of love but these people donot understand that love alwys as  a famous movies title ,' Love Aaj Kaal' says that love never changes.
Again I have seen this in my friends that they have an unique problem of having or not having boyfriend and girlfriend. The world as it is today cannot be more than a conglomeration of people earning fast and gong to bed fast . There must be more to life than sex.A relationship has its pains but also that relationship that trnscends all the pains becomes true of gold.

World Cup throughout the years

The ODI world cup started in the year 1975 when the Carribean tigers under the leadership of Clive Lyod becme champion. The Prominet players were Lyod, Dennies Ammies, Glen Turner, Jeff Thompson, Vivian Richards and others.
The second edition was also won by West Indies and Ricahrds was the hero of the final by scoring a magical 138 not out.
The third world cup was the world cup of surprises . In the begining the debutant Zimbabue beat the mighty Australia followed by the biggest upset of the world when minnows India beat the powerful West Indiaes by restricting them to meagre 140 in reply to India's 183.Madan Lal,Gurner, Amarnath and Kapildev were the main stars of the world cup.
The next edition saw the triumph of 'Aussie' magic headed by the able cricket brain Allan Border. David Boon, Mike Gatting, Chetan Sharma and Mcdermatt were the heros.
The Pakistani cricket legend Imran Khan came back from retirement in 1992 to lift the world cup. THe strategy of the New Zeland captain Martin Crowe to start bowling with spinner Deepak Patel was an innovative move. In this world cup the once suspended South Africa returned to the international era. They did their best but lost in the semi -finals. Inzamam Ul Haq was the hero of the World Cup along with fielding sensation Jonty Rhodes.
The subcontinent underdog Sri Lanka won the next world cup by beating the Shane Warne starrer Australia in the finals. The Matara dasher Jaysurya won the man of the tournament award in the 1996 cup.
In the next tourmnent it was battle of nerves and Steve Waugh's Australia won a crucial tie against South Africa in which Steve scored an epic 120 not out.The 199 world cup hero was Lance Clusner of South Africa. The Australian side won the cup by beating Pakistan.
Four years later the Indian team of maestro Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly,Rahul Dravid , Anil Kumble,reached the final. But unfortuantely they had to loose to the mighty Australinas.
The next editon was too won by Australia when pacer Glenn Mcgrath and wicket keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist played the best cricket of their life to gift the Aussies the match.
This year the world cup is organised in the subcontinent where among others India is a favourite. All of Indians want to see the cup in the hands of master blaster Tendulkar.

INDIAN MOVIES AT WORLD STAGE

By Indian films I donot only mean bollywood but all other regional languages and  Indian performing in the world arena. In the year 1982 Richard Attenbarough's epic movie 'Gandhi' tasted the Oscar for an Indian. After a gap of about a decade Satyajit Ray own the Lifetime Oscar. However it was till late 200s that Indian films achieved a cult at the Oscars. Danny Boyel's epic movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' had an almost all Indian cast and it won 8 Oscars.
Some criticies Slumdog Millionaire by stating that like i 1990's there was a trend of giving beauty pagents title to Indians to create market for Wesstern Consumerism the Oscars too are a form of marketing strategy so that Hollywood can capture the Indian market.
A.R.Rehman and Gulzar own Oscars as well as Grammy awards. Even this year too Rehman may win the Oscars,all the best to him.
Among other films the two Amir Khan starrer films,'Lagaan' in 2001 and ' Rang De Basanti' in 2006 had ample chances of winning Oscars in the best regional film category but unfortunately they failed.
To conclude it may be said that the Indian film industry is slowly making way to abroad. Perhaps this can be called globalisation of cinema.
